Greetings in the name of our Lord!
The Lord is blessing me right now! My most recent life experience has renewed my faith and reminded me that God is sovereign and all powerful. There is nothing that he cannot do and all things are subject to His time and His will. Specifically, when medicine failed to restore my mother's speech and cognitive awareness, God stepped in and gave us the gift of more time to talk with and enjoy my mother's conversation, smile and even humor. As the old song says, if the Lord never does anything else for me, He's done enough!
I also thank God for the overwhelming support that we have received from so many people from far and near. I want to especially thank our People's Community Church family in this letter as the love you have shared has been so uplifting! I could not imagine what life would be like without a praying and supportive church family. Please continue to lift us up in prayer.
This week we will turn our eyes to something that we frequently find ourselves wrestling with. Why is life so unfair? I want to argue that we should not covet what we perceive in the lives of others. God has a specific plan for each of us and we must trust Him and walk in it, even when we can't see how it is fair. God's wisdom and lovingkindness will always put us through the preparation and pathway to be in the position to execute His plan for our lives. There is blessed favor in that plan and when we embrace it, we will find that He will bless us with more than we could ever ask or think!
I love you, aint a thang you can do about it!
